Our Services
Physical Therapy
Physical therapists are licensed professionals who work with people that have sustained disabilities, impairments, or limitations in their overall physical function. These deviations can be the result of disease, injury, or pathological processes. Physical therapists focus on the evaluation of strength, balance, range of motion, coordination, endurance, and posture of each individual patient. Through the modalities of exercise, mobilization, posture, manipulation, and movement analysis, physical therapists work to restore function, improve mobility, and decrease pain. Rehabilitation strategies often involve specific exercises to stretch and strengthen muscles as well as to improve posture, balance, and endurance.
Acupuncture & Cupping
Acupuncture is a 3,000-year-old healing technique that originated in China that entails stimulating certain points on the body called acupoints, most often with a needle penetrating the skin, to alleviate pain or to help treat various health conditions. Most people feel no or minimal discomfort as the fine needles are gently placed. The needles are usually retained between 5 and 30 minutes. During and after treatments, people report that they feel very relaxed. Like acupuncture, cupping also uses the acupoints on the body and involves placing cups on the skin to create suction. The suction technique used in cupping helps facilitate healing by improving blood flow to promote healing and reduce pain.
Personal Training
Massage Therapy
Massage therapy is the scientific manipulation of the soft tissues of the body for the purpose of normalizing those tissues and consists of a group of manual techniques that include applying fixed or movable pressure, holding, and/or causing movement of or to the body. While massage therapy is applied primarily with the hands, sometimes the forearms or elbows are used. These techniques affect the muscular, skeletal, circulatory, lymphatic, nervous, and other systems of the body The basic philosophy of massage therapy embraces the concept of vis Medicatrix naturae, which is aiding the ability of the body to heal itself and is aimed at achieving or increasing health and well-being.
Here at Rising Sun Physical Therapy, we offer personal training to help guide individuals towards their fitness goals. Personal training is also provided to help bridge the gap between physical therapy and regular exercise Our knowledgeable staff of physical therapist can help design a workout routine that is both safe and within the guidelines of any health condition in a one to one setting using our state of the art equipment within our facility.

Will I have the same physical therapist each time I come in?We prefer that each patient remains with the same therapist for each visit so that the physical therapist can follow you through the full course of treatment and be the primary contact for communication with other health care providers including your doctor. On occasion, you may see another physical therapist if there is a conflict in schedules.
-
What should I wear to my treatment session?Loose comfortable clothing should be worn so that you are able to move around without restrictions. Comfortable shoes are also recommended.
-
How many treatments will I need? The number of visits is dependent on the individual, the diagnosis, the severity of symptoms, medical history, prior level of function etc and can range from a few visits to a few months. The physical therapist will discuss with you how many visits you will require and how long you should expect to be in physical therapy to reach maximal function.
-
How much will I be paying for physical therapy? The amount paid out of pocket depends on individual insurance plans and coverage. We will gladly verify your insurance and explain your benefits and financial responsibility before your first visit.
-
What are the hours of operation? We are currently open from 11 AM - 7 PM, Monday-Friday.

I have been to many physical therapists throughout my 64 years, but there is NO ONE like Natsuko Watanabe. She is a miracle worker in my opinion. I have seen her for a variety of challenges with my back, hips and knees. Each time I have seen her, I feel remarkably better at the end of each visit. Now I recommend her to all of my friends and colleagues at work. I have complete confidence that if you have any issue, Natsuko can help you! Do yourself a favor and book an appointment today!

Working at the desk all day and using the computer mouse has caused a bunch of shoulder and neck problems for me so I thought I would look into physical therapy.
I ended up finding Rising Sun and I'm very happy with my choice. My physical therapist Mike Russo is very friendly and knowledgeable and puts a lot of work into each of our sessions to fix me up.
Would definitely recommend Rising Sun to any friends and family!

Can't thank you enough, all of you, for helping me so much! I'm a different person since I started with Alex. I'm so much happier and have far less pain, compared to what I had when I first limped and dragged myself through your door. I am so pleased with my treatment from all of you and have not felt this good in years!
